CAMBRIDGE (MILL ROAD)
The Baptist Church Centre is at 178 Mill Road, with the entrance to the centre on Stockwell Street. The centre is recently refurbished with fantastic facilities and the benefit of a small car park. On-street parking restrictions mean that on-street parking on Stockwell and streets immediately next to it are now resident's only parking. The venue is also close to Cambridge train station and is easily reached by any buses that pass along Mill Road. Classes will be held in the main hall and foam play mats are provided for the babies to use. Baby changing facilities are available. A kitchen is also available if you need to warm bottles etc.
The address is 178 Mill Road, Cambridge, CB1 3LP. Sat navs can't always be trusted so here are some directions! Approaching from Sainsbury's end of Mill Road, the Baptist Church is on the left, just before Stockwell Street and the railway bridge. Stockwell Street is one way and can't be entered from Mill Road, so please take the next left into Argyle Street and follow it round as it bends to the left, then turn immediately left into Stockwell Street. As you head along Stockwell Street back up to Mill Road, you will see a small car park on your right (red & white striped barrier) which is reserved for users of the Baptist Church Centre. The entrance door to the centre is just after the car park.
If approaching from the Parkside end of Mill Road, note that Mill Road bridge is now closed to vehicles unless you have registered a blue badge with the council. If approaching from this side of the City, I recommend you park in the Gwydir Street pay & display car park and walk the 10 minues from the car park over the bridge to the venue.
