Baby and toddler classes in Cornwall!
Hello!
I'm Natalie and as a former Sing and Sign mummy myself, I am now very lucky to teach my own classes!
Baby signing can provide such an amazing insight into the mind of your little one. I remember my own son signing 'bird' one morning when he woke up. I'll never forget the look of delight on his face when he realised that I understood that he could hear the birds outside. Being able to communicate with your child before they can talk is truly magical and can prevent so many frustrations for both parent and child.
Sing and Sign classes are relaxed, full of super catchy songs and are a great way to meet other parents.

About the classes
I have three age appropriate groups to offer:
Babes: is a pre-Stage 1 curriculum for the youngest babies (newborn to 6 months). It is a gentle music and sensory class with a strong emphasis on communication and enjoying time with your baby.
Stage 1: is the core curriculum award-winning class for babies aged 6 months to around 14 months. Themes are appropriate to your baby's world and include signs to use at nappy change and bath time, bedtime, and to describe emotions. You'll learn over 100 signs related to your routines and also the things your baby might be interested in, such as vehicles and animals. It is quite a big step form Stage 1 to Stage 2, so many people come to Stage 1 for two terms before attending Stage 2. This is a 10 week course.
Stage 2: for little ones who are moving about and aged 14 months plus. Either for those moving up form Stage 1 - continue the fun as speech develops - or for newbies - it's not too late to start signing! Themes include weather, opposites, colours and the phonetic alphabet, together with simple counting songs, turn taking, sharing and of course, lots of fun! This is a 10 week course.

Does your child attend a nursery?
Sing and Sign has an excellent Nursery Affiliation Programme which will train staff on their own premises at a time to suit all. We will teach staff a selection of signs, tailor made to the nursery's individual requirements and design an Individual Action Plan to inspire staff and make signing fun and easy to incorporate. Following training, the nursery will receive a Certificate of Sing and Sign Affiliation together with ongoing access to our signing resources and a complimenatary package of products.
