My daughter, Ashika, and I started signing when she was 9 months old and her speech and communication and vocabulary were considerably more advanced for her age from the time she started speaking-directly as a result of the communication ability and stimulation that signing gave her. I always had people commenting on how clear her speech was and still is. Ashika is able to communicate her needs with ease and we both have enjoyed our time together so much more than we would have, without Sing and Sign. We have a much stronger bond between us and have most certainly reduced OUR frustration levels (she is SOOO independent!). ALREADY SIGNING?   Sing and Sign was devised in Brighton as the first UK signing organisation and has stuck to its original award winning, popular format.  Sing and Sign truly believes in COMMUNICATION as key to a babies development and the importance of teaching the carers these techniques. It is the only signing programme with such a fun stage 2 for older children, so if you have an older child then come and increase your  childs cognition, understanding and reading ability with Stage 2.

Additionally there are support products available like the very popular DVDs (stage 1 & 2) and the CDs which are great for long car journeys!  These can be used to learn at home or to supplement what you are learning in class. My classes have proven to be very popular and i have had carers with me for 6 terms and others coming along with their 2nd and 3rd babies now too!
