Hi and welcome to SING & SIGN COVENTRY! My name is Holly and I've been teaching Sing & Sign since Autumn 2006 and love every minute! When I heard about Sing & Sign and all it's great benefits I couldn't wait to start, as I had such a difficult time communicating with my first daughter - I definitely knew this was the class for me!! I starting attending Sing & Sign classes when my middle daughter, Lucy was 11 months old and immediately my whole family was hooked!! We were so excited and could hardly wait till the following week so we could learn more signs. Lucy's 5 now and Emily is 8, they both can hardly wait to start signing with their new baby sister Jemima, who arrived in January 2010. I'm so grateful that I've been given the chance to help families across Coventry have the chance to communicate with their babies from such a young age!! I have 2 wonderful teachers to help me teach classes in Coventry: Jan Nightingale, who's been teaching since April 2009 and is currently on maternity leave, after just having baby James Jo Price, who's signed with both her children and came to classes for 8 terms herself.
Enrolment has just opened for our September - December 2010 term. We offer classes on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, at Queens Road Baptist Church just off the ring road and Mondays and Fridays at the Holyhead United Reformed Church just off the Holyhead Road. Jemima Daisy arrived this morning - 27th January 2010!! We are pleased to say we had a homebirth and she weighed 8lbs and 12ounces!
